The U.S Environmental Protection Agency has set forth some new regulations. Under the new spill prevention control and countermeasure rule anyone having more than 1,320 gallons of liquid on their property must use double wall containment. This is an accumulated total of diesel, gasoline, oil, and cooking oils. This will effect many institutions and businesses. The SPCC rule can be found in Title 40 of the code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 112 (oil pollution prevention). This double wall container qualifies under these regulations.
